Our website is under construction. We are testing with a small group before we open to everyone. Have a look around, and join the list at the bottom of any page to hear the day we open.

Every child deserves to know who is in their corner.

Create a one-of-a-kind story made by the people who love them most: their tribe.

Create Their Story
An illustrated child surrounded by six of the important people in their life, each drawn in a warm, storybook style, gathered together as their tribe.

One photo. One character who looks like them.

Everyone adds a photo. We turn it into an illustrated character, and you see every one of them before anything is printed.

A photograph of a smiling man with short curly hair and a trimmed beard, in a mustard-yellow sweater.
The photo
The same man drawn as a storybook character, in soft, warm hand-painted colours, still in the mustard-yellow sweater.
In the book
A photograph of a laughing woman with silver wavy hair and round glasses, in a teal cardigan.

How it works

Three steps, from the first photo to the finished book.

  1. Step 1: Start their story

Add their photo and a few details, see them illustrated for free, then pay once for the whole book.

  2. Step 2: Invite their tribe

Send a private link to the 4–10 people who love them. No app, no account, a few minutes each. Taking part is free for everyone you invite.

  3. Step 3: Review and receive

Their answers become one illustrated story. You read it page by page, edit anything, then approve it and we print and ship it.

Questions, answered

The things people ask before they start.

How long does it take a contributor to fill in their part?

A few minutes. They open their private link on their phone, pick a few checkboxes about who they are to the child, add one photo, and answer one short question. No account, no app.

What does it cost?

The standard hardcover is $59 for a tribe of 4 people, and each person you add (up to 10) is $5 more, because each one gets their own pages and pictures. The premium keepsake is $79 for 4 people and adds the digital PDF and a wallpaper set of the illustrations. You choose the number of people before you pay, you pay once, and everyone you invite contributes for free. Extra physical copies and rush production are available as add-ons.

Can I make changes after I see the preview?

Yes. You'll review an interactive digital proof before anything is printed, with a limited round of included edits.

Who prints the book, and how long does shipping take?

Books are produced through Lulu's print-on-demand network. We're still finalizing exact shipping timelines and rates for launch.

What happens to the photos and information contributors share?

They're used only to build this child's story and illustrations. Because this product involves children's information and photos of the adults who contribute, we're building privacy and consent handling in from the start, not adding it later.

One day, they’ll grow up. But they’ll always know one thing: they had a tribe.
